    If everything will be ok ( as i am hammer noob xd) probably sunday or monday we will play alpha version...

    For now im making zombie and human spawn breakout ( zombies and humans will need to find a way to escape from spawn area to advance through the map.... ) if zombies escape first they will have a way to kill humans or if they find how to trigger zm shortcut zombies will have extra route to kill humans )

    Yes sure, that's why I just said "at the beginning", would be nice after to see what other communities think about it so they can give you some suggestions.

    but Ive run into some big fok problem. As all map optimization methods that i tried do not work for me , lol (it takes really long time for hammer to compile my map ) I even start questioning if my map will compile at all with all the stuff that i created

    actually it compiled now ( i optimized compiling time itself but not the map)..... and on my pc which has 2 gb graphics card it runs at 250 -300 fps...
    Ill better optimize it later

    Yes today is really the day....

    ze_portal_adventures_b1 (50 mb for now , will try to keep it under 130 mb if not possible then 140 -145 max as my map will not look like its big but in reality it will be big as frostdrake or chaos)



    I double checked that i packed my textures properly and tested my map on clean cs go install , so for testers : delete all previous versions of my map that you have....


    KNOWN ISSUES :

    1) lightning inside the house on the 2 floor is not that great ( cant see a button that well ). Still need to learn more about lighting in hammer....

    (button is behind the door)


    2) song is not loopable


    3) on screen messages are displayed to first person to trigger it

    4) 1 big texture is over scaled

    Here is quick update for my map since it has not been uploaded to server yet for players to test.... (also forgot to change map version, so sorry for that... if tested it offline delete previous version before downloading new b1 version)





    issues 2 , 3 and 4 have been fixed (i hope, xD)

    Now you can actually test it and its playable....

    button is behind doors . both for humans and zombies... ( you cant see the button but its there , so just press e and you will hear a sound)
